This was the original painting. It was a fun little experiment to create wood grain with paint. It worked but it just didn't speak to me any longer. It got white washed to nothingness. Muwhahaha!
Out of the whiteness arose this. I don't really know what it is, but I like it. The clouds proved problematic. In spite of painting big fluffy clouds and storm clouds dozens of time with ease, these clouds were jerks. I spent way too much time painting and re-painting clouds. Robots are at least good at covering some clouds you still don't like.
Are we there yet? Not quite, but close. One robot down just one small bird to go. Should be easy, but I don't know what kind of coloration this bird needs to make it 'the bird.' Maybe I will hold an American Idol style audition for birds from this region to come and show me their talents. I will have to hire a few more judges and stage hands. I am also going to need to rent a convention center. Hmm this seems like a lot of work. I'll just Google 'bird pictures' for ideas. Maybe I should do a wood grain bird to pay homage to the original painting. Haha naa.
So here is the finished painting. The title appears above. I like the curiosity of his lifeless robot eyes. I think me and this robot would be friends.
